it's just started to rain here - not too heavy yet but definitely rain!

Warm but cloudy in Manchester. Had some rain earlier but none since. The radio have been going on about thunder for about a week now but not had any. A good storm would be welcome to clear the humidity, was too hot to sleep for ages last night, though it's a lot cooler here today.

Rain started here in Belfast at about 5am this morning. Really heavy. Stopped just after lunch, sun has been splitting the stones ever since. Guess it has just reached you. Expect a good six or seven hour soaking. Suppose you need it there to fill your taps up.
