Police Not Recording Reported Crime

I have discovered that my local police constabulary has not been recording the crimes I have reported to them over the last 12 months.
Clearly my local police force are falsifying reported crime to the Home Office (at the very least).

What can I do to force my local police constabulary to record the reported crime – I have already complained (to them and the IPCC), without success?

I am seeking definitive answers, not nonsense such as seek advice from the CAB/MP etc.

If there is no legal route to force the police to record reported crime – I would appreciate it if the legal eagles on this site, would state as much.

I answered your question by advising you, based on my role at work, to always as for a crime reference number, you haven't acknowledged my reply yet and I won;t be holding my breath
You are saying you are reporting 'crimes' we are saying that is not necessarily the case!

As you are disinclined to explain further I think you'll have to content yourself with the 'disappointing' crop of replies you have received.

Well dotty - if I had a time machine I could have taken your advice. But now that the police have not recorded the reported crimes and I do not have a time machine - what do I do now?
Keep reporting. And next time ask for one!
The way police record (or not record) Crime/s is a very very dodgy business. Hymie, ask to speak to your divisional Crime standards Auditor.
Exactly, tinks.......that is what he needs to do, short of handcuffing himself to the station doors.

Hi Hymie- I just wondered if you had any news on any progress on this.
He's in the clink??

factor30 – what do you mean, any progress?

My local police force have not recorded the reported crimes; based on the responses here (and other investigations/complaints I have made), there is nothing I can do to force them to record the reported crimes. If a police force wants to falsify crime figures by not recording them, there is no organisation that can hold them to account.

As things currently stand, as far as the police are concerned – the crimes I have reported to them never occurred.
