what to read next????

hi was just looking for any ideas for good books....i know theres millions...recently read Running with Scissors by augusten burroughs....also enjoy ben elton...in fact enjoy anything mordern..relating todays society etc....any ideas ???

Have you read The Time Travelers Wife by Audrey Niffenegger? A brilliant book.

The Gun Seller - by Hugh Laurie is a cracker and anything by Charles Higson (fast show) is very good.

hello

how about Atonement by Ian McEwan?  Its all about guilt and family bonds and love - really readable with lots of twists.  I think its going/is being made in to a film.  Not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing!

Also how about The Time of our Singing by Richard Powers?  This is about a mixed race family in America and it is mostly set in the 1960's but covers the periods before and after.  It's really emotional and beautifully written and very intense.  the main character is a classical singer so there is lots about music in their too.

Dream House - An updated Alice in Wonderland (my favourite book)

Family Outing - Extreme Genetics

Brass by Helen Walsh is modern, moving and candid. It's a story about a 19 year old called Millie and is quite shocking in places (or maybe I'm just getting on), but it's also heart wrenching and warming in turns.
