relationship dilema, help??!!!
1 Answers
me and my ex split up 3 years ago after being together since we were 15, nearly 10 years ago. we have a child together, who is 4, and he is a great dad. we are like best friends, we get on great now, although when we were together we did nothing but argue. the problem is, he's told me on several occassions he still loves me and wants to try again but i'm not sure. we are great when we're together and now we're older i'm sure we wouldn't make the same mistakes as we did before but although i love him, i'm not sure if i'm in love with him. the main thing that makes me doubt this is that i don't think i fancy him, and i know it sounds shallow but if i don't fancy him, surely it won't work, OR is it that after 10 years people do just stop fancying eachother? i really don't know, i'm definitly not going to risk the friendship we have now to find out, but i'm just curious to find out what other people think.

But on the whole I would have thought you need to have some desire for a partner before undertaking any kind of long-term relationship, even if you have known him before. And what does he think about this?
