When my daughter goes to my friend's house my friend paints her toenails (and her own childrens - including her two year old son who she doesn't want to leave out) and it looks all lovely and neat (including sparkly bits on her big toes). How can I achieve the same finish - is there a brand with a smaller brush thing (as, obviously, she only has tiny nails). I have never used nail varnish and am not a girly sort. Thanks.
I once had some gold and silver varnish with a very very fine brush to do nail art patterns ..........it was some years ago, can't remember whether it was from Body Shop or Avon.
I feel really bad for my daughter - it just doesn't occur to me to do girly stuff and she loves going to my friend's house (her nails are alternate sparkly blue and pink with added sparkles).
I don`t know about small brushes but Sally Hanson has a kind of flat brush that makes it really easy to get a good finish on nails (especially toe nails)
You can't see it - it's on her toe nails (I don't like it either, but don't want to offend my friend (she knows I call it chavvy) or my daughter (who is a secret chav)).
you can also get the sparkly bits in Poundland, they have about 4 little packs of sparkle inside and if I remember correctly a cuticle stick to help position them.
my daughter likes picking up little nailvarnishes from Clares Accesories. They are tiny bottle, very pale colours and easy to apply. She only has her toenails done unless i have a very very pale pink for her fingernails (which no-one can see but her)
