male circumcision?

male circumcision, i am aware cultural/religous groups have newborn males circumcised , but it looks quite brutal! are the babies sedated prior to the procedure ? TIA

My brother must have been about 5 months old at the time, he wasn't sedated and I don't remember him crying. I think it was the normal thing to do in those days, for hygiene more than religious purposes.
I'm not questioning cleanliness, WL, its just that many men do not properly feel themselves (and I am not making amusing comments about the sexual activity) and they miss possible lumps.
Glad to hear that you OH made it through.....as did my mate.
My old man did something similar with colon cancer, some discomfort and blood and the buqqer didnt say anything.....too late as a result but back then survivial rates arent what they are today.
If there is one message that can be conveyed for either sex and lumps on the sex organs (or elsewhere), it is "If in doubt, check it out!"
The doctors really do not mind checking you over.
