Who Are They?

Here's another one of my mystery pictures! A can tell you it's from the Ellesmere Port area, but where do you think these ladies work. I'm pretty sure the're not nurses. They have a two-coloured ribbon on their white overalls. The lady at the front left has a motif on here uniform but I can't tell what it says. I'll be grateful for your thoughts. There may be more over the next few days too!

Dinner ladies? Think the motif on the ladies overall says "eat xxx"??

They're wearing jewellery so they're not nurses or in a lab - perhaps they are WI cooks/jam-makers, or something like that?

I've had another look with an eye-glass at the motif and it is EPT LSC. So it's probably Ellesmere Port ......?..... School. (Lower) So dinner ladies could be spot on. They're very posh ones then, with their ribbons:-)
