On a similar note - Another Italian series well worth considering ...Romanzo Criminale now showing on Sky Arts, set in 70's Italy at the time of the Aldo Moro kidnapping and the Bologna station bombing, absolutely fantastic viewing, best thing to come out on TV from Italy ever!!!! They have got the period fell bang on.
