Has anybody ever made some experiences with this company? Anything I should be looking out for? It seems they have quite good deals for Asia tours f.e.x. ...anyone?
If you book with them you'll be booking with a German company. (The Brighton address and phone number is just for the office of the Berlitz language school, who either work as their agent or who sub-let office accommodation to them). So you won't get ABTA protection.
My own instinct would also be to avoid any company which can't spend a few pounds (or euros) on a decent website. There are several glaring spelling errors and the booking conditions seem to have been written only for people travelling to Cuba.
Lastly, it's worth noting that the prices quoted there EXCLUDE international flights. You've got to get yourself to and from the start and end points of the tours.
I too shared Chris’ scepticism, but ended up using them after all as they seemed to be the cheapest. I guess as they’re quite new, their website still has a few teething problems. (I particularly love “On Hemingway’s Traces” on the homepage. lol) That would probably also explain why the address comes up as a berlitz language school.
Anyhow, the trip went without problems so I can’t complain. Got to see the great wall and the terracotta army and stuff.
