I am no film buff and I don't particularly like Star Wars...... but my son has never seen any of them and he really likes Clone Wars. We have these family nights where we watch films and it's the Star Wars Saga this time!

So, my question is.... in what order do we watch Star Wars(I don't mean what order are they as I know that) but..... Do we watch them as they were originally aired (just like when we were young) or in the order of the story.

It might be obvious to others but I'm not sure, were we meant to watch them in the wrong order etc...

Opinions appreciated, thank you :0)

I knew someone would help me out. Many thanks Dave (it's been a few years since we've watched them so the memory goes a little)
1-6

IN ORDER
456123 would be my choice!
"1-6

IN ORDER"

OCD coming out?
Yes there are technically 7 Star Wars movies:-

Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope
Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back
Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi
Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace
Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones
Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith

Star Wars: The Clone Wars

It's not OCD to watch things in the numerically correct fashion, it's just the right way to do it! ;oP
My pleasure Alba

I think if you are new to them 1-6 is the way to go, but I think you may give up on the lot after 10 minutes of Jar-Jar Binks
better than being called Chick :-D
In my opinion we oldies had no choice but to watch 4,5,& 6 because that was all there was, but since the prequels 1,2 & 3 have been introduced the best way to watch the whole story is to start at the beginning at No 1 & follow through to the end No 6. I don't know about anyone else but I can't abide the modern practice of film makers who run movies where they keep nipping back & forth in time with storylines, I find some tales most confusing.
