Thought about this at a party last night where there were obviously lots of couples...

Do you still fancy your hubby/wife/mr/mrs/OH/whatever as much as you did before!?

Was wondering if you still look at them the same way after years of marriage r whatever and feel the same way!? (in my case like "RAaaaaaarrrrr" haha)

I also saw a saying aswell "when the butterflies stop its the beginning of the end" so that inspired me too!? Xxx

well it's not her per se, it is not being near my kids, that is the real issue.

This is a bit of a bittersweet read for me also...I can distinctly remember looking at my then future husband and thinking " We are going to grow old together"....but it was not to be.
He's re-marrying later this year...and I no longer trust people as I used to. Oh well....

I really,really envy all of you your lasting happiness....long may it continue. ;-))

Yes I still long and lust after my wife/ ex/ wife whatever she is now- all a bit complicated, but yes I find her an amazing person full of calm and gentleness and wisdom and fire.

When i was with my ex I was 100% committed to him. I loved him & believed that when he put that engagement ring on my finger that he felt the same.

Anytime i was out I never once looked at any other guy in a romantic type of way. I am a one man woman, I had made a choice & was happy with the choice I had made.

My ex at times used to say to me to get rid of my fiance & get with him, I never once did or entertain the thought. I had made a commitment & was happy with that. Sadly me ex fiance wasn't as committed as I thought he was....but we learn. But it still stands when I commit to someone I'm in it for the long haul.
