We are a large party flying with Thompson. Our travel agent has said if we want to book seats everyone in the party has to not just some of the party, Is this true. TIA.

It was when I booked them with Thomas Cook. It was the same with booking extra luggage and meals, either we all did it or none of us.
If you mean to sit together as a group then all in party must book at same time.It makes sense when you think about it.

It's not that we all want tto sit together, some are not bothered where they sit, others " why should I pay an extra £12pp for a airline to sit me next to a screaming child for 21/2 hours
Are you all booked on one single flight reference with a single payment though? If so then I'd understand why you all have to or none of you, you pre-book seats online when you pay.
