if you were in the middle of you cycle (usually around 15 days after 1st day of last period) when you had unproteced sex that's when you are most likely to become pregnant. if you are near beginning or end of cycle then it is less likely. there's only one way to know for sure though; if your period is late; pee on a stick.
Good luck
I think there's a chance you could be pregnant, but it's more likely to happen if you miss a pill during the first 7 days of the packet than at the end.
Probably the best thing you can do is either not have sex or put up with condoms for 7 days and just go straight onto the next packet of pills without the normal break. Just a warning though that you might get 'breakthrough bleeding' towards the end of the pack but it should help keep you protected. If you don't get a period at the end of the next pack then do a pregnancy test.
Be careful next time!
No 5029!!!
You're supposed to carry on taking the next packet of pills without a break.
As always, you should check with your GP but that is what the packets say.
This isn't advice, but it may make you feel better - I have also missed pills many times and have never fallen pregnant - that's not something to be proud of but may reassure you a little bit.
Oh, and don't the packs have mon, tues, weds, etc on them anymore?
I have done this before. Do not worry about it. If you have more than 7 pills left in the pack, then take the pill you missed as soon as you remember and carry on as normal and use extra protection for 7 days. If there is less than 7 pills in the pack then take the pill you missed as soon as you remember, only do not have your usual 7 day break. Go straight on to your next pack of pills. Hope this helps x
Oi 5029! I didn't give any advise that was based on what happened to me. I was just begining my answer with a brief statement on my knowledge and personal experience on using the pill.
The advise i gave was to pee on a stick, and i also gave a very basis explaination on when in the cycle ovulation occurs.
Using the pill is not 100% safe form on contraception anyway; so the only advise anyone can give is for Snappy to take a pg test as there is a chance she is pg and it is obviously causing her concern.
