Hard to believe

I have just watched a documentary(recorded a week or so back) about the fall of Singapore and the attack on Pearl Harbour by the Japanese combined forces. According to this documentary after 60 years secrets can now be revealed and it seems that certain Englishmen could have been quite instrumental in these attacks. I was very small when these things happened and after watching this I am shocked at the outcome.It just goes to show what a twisted,nasty.greedy devious power hungry world we live in

There are many things in the archives that are still classified and not accessible to the public. One of them is related to our naval association, the loss of HM Ships Ardent, Glorious and Acasta in June 1940. The Board of Inquiry report on the loss of these ships is closed for 100 years, till June 2040. Who are they protecting?

I agree sog. There are a lot of military/political goings on we know nothing about. I was very small at that time, my father served with the Royal Engineers in the jungles of Burma, and in India, and Singapore. He said the Gurkhas were tremendous fighters.
