Has anyone else religiously watched all 13 episodes and is left, like me, utterly bewildered? There was originally supposed to be a second series, hence the cliffhanger finish, but as it's been cancelled we'll never know the outcome!

I have and I'm quite upset they are not making another series. I agree, The Event was good too and its a shame they're not making another series/season.

if there isnt going to be a second series, leaving everyone up in the air..why

Lack of audiences usually for US stations to take it on
It's a shame because some programmes that took a few seasons to take off and get those large audiences are the best on TV
The makers of The Event tried to get other channels to take it on but no one was forthcoming
Alcatraz will go the same way :(

I know it is so not fair. The same thing happened with Dark Skies and FlashForward.
