PER ANGUSTA AD AUGUSTA = Through Difficulties To Things Of Honor / Through trial to triumph.


Although pedantocs may like to correct my amateur grasp of latin.....

And pedantics can correct my spellings too...
through rough ravines to hallowed heights... 'angusta' as in anguish, augusta as in, well, august. The emperor Augustus was originally named Octavian, so I won't be correcting Octavius any time soon.
