Some are good. My daughter shoots her car straight in to parking spaces,at first attempt, from any angle or direction. But she is parking dozens of times a day in London, in the course of her work.
Women are more defensive. It may be that when she sees a parking space a woman allows far more room than necessary on that account. That would be why I sit intrigued as a woman goes to and fro , backwards and forwards, always with about a metre of space in front when she stops and decides to go back or turn the wheel the other way. And why, on the road, you see women gingerly attempting to drive a mini size car through a gap you could get an artic through.
