Help please. Hi, a few days ago unknown to me a car was unloaded from a breakdown truck in front of my house. My neighbours say they didn't see who it belongs to or where it came from.I am a fairly tolerant and fair minded person so I will give it a day or two to see if anyone comes forward to remove it. It is taxed until November so legally it can stay on the road. My question is if it sits there for days or weeks and causing an inconvience to me is there anything I can do about it to get it moved? I know this is a very grey area but any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

No I don't think you're a wrong un, everyone is entitled to an opinion.I was simply asking for advice about the problem and have since have had many helpful answers for which I thank all concerned. However you seem to have taken on an aggressive role for some reason which makes me wonder if it is a particularly sore point with you, is this the case?
aggressive?
I'm sorry you think that but how exactly have i been aggressive?
I havent typed in capitals, nor used loads of exclamation and question marks, nor used angry emoticons, i havent swore, or called you any names or ranted and raved, or made any threats ... so how is is aggressive?
just because you dont like what i'm saying - because i am basically pointing out that you are wrong - does not make me aggressive.
i only posted more than once because you simply dont listen, to me or anyone else and still, even now think you still think you have rights over the road.
i could add smiley faces and pepper my posts with nice language - but it wouldnt change the facts.
people accuse others of being fuming and tell them to calm down a lot on here, just because the person doesnt agree with them - for some reason they think it adds weight to their own argument ... but it really doesnt...its usually just a lazy cop-out way to deflect whats being said.
and yes, ummms right, i just type words as i think them to say what i mean, i dont think about trying to 'soften' it... but then i dont really think ive anything to soften as im not saying anything offensive or wrong

Well I think you're right Joko, mind you I'm the other one usually being told to 'calm down' because I've disagreed with the conservative ' back in myyyy day' brigade. I think maybe we should start gratuitously using excalaimation marks!!!!! Or maybe rounding off with lots of hugs and kisses sweetie, that way we might be more palettable xxx OXO xxx

Bedknobs. Yes you are right this type of arguement could go on forever so to round it off....I met the owner of said vehicle as I was coming out of my front door and he was unloading stuff from the boot. We said hello and he said "sorry for the inconvience and I will move it as soon as poss". It turns out that he lives at the bottom of my street and has two other cars parked down there.....make of that as you will. However; we talked and he told me his engine had siezed up while on the motorway and so he had get it towed back home and at the time there were no other spaces other than at my front door and when he can arrange a removal he will. As I said in an earlier post ,now that I know the situation I don't have a problem with it so to round it all off I thank you all for your input and wish you all the best of all you wish for
