His attitude is so much better, he smiles (occasionally), his interviews are more eloquent and he is totally focused on winning. He is, without doubt, the best British tennis player in my life time.
I think he has a real chance and I do hope he wins.

Must say I have found it difficult to like Andy Murray,However,I think we saw the real Andy Murray during the Olympics and despite his efforts to win the singles he gave full commitment when playing with Laura Robson in the Mixed Doubles. My only reservation is this silly fist pumping and the politbureau like applase and fist pumping in return from his entourage sat in the balcony for players nearest and dearest.Best of luck to him I say.

David Cameron is British too. I can't stand him.
On one hand I want to see a Brit win, but on the other hand, I just don't like Murray for the way he is.
Although I am very pro get the immigrants out and keep us British (that includes different races all born here staying here), I am not loyal because someone is British. I have a family member in a wheelchair. I dislike her (for many reasons that others also do not like her). The fact that she is British, disabled and a family member is irrelevant.

I don't particularly like him, but what you describe is called growing up.
