If I buy a twin cordless phone set I obviously get two phones and two base units. The larger main base unit is connected to the incoming telephone wires and also the mains. The smaller unit, is, I assume also connected to the mains for charging purposes. Question is do I also need a phone connection point at this base unit as well as other ie. two in total.

Many thanks woofy
The 2nd phone just has to be plugged into an electrical socket...
No, one socket. We have a main phone and two extensions, they only need power. You only get the phone log on the main phone, though.
Sorry to disagree boxtops - I have a two handset unit and the call log is stored on both handsets.

One gripe I have though is that each phone has a different / separate phonebook - so all have to be entered twice and there is only room for 20 numbers.

Seems each model has different functions and specifications

Thanks all for advice. Got a Panasonic twin set from Amazon. Great set. What info you put on one phone automatically appears on other.
