I know this drama is not a repeat, but I am positive I have seen it before. I remember the well in the cellar befor it appeared, I remember the 'drowned' children, and I remember the wet footprints up the cellar steps. Has anyone else seen a similar version of it?

i think you might be thinking of marshlands an itv drama thats been repeated recently, i taped and have just got round to watching it, its set over a period of the 60's, 80's and present day, where a little girl is drowned and leaves wet hand prints in the house not finished watching yet, prefer crickley hall, but its worth a watch if its repeated again or on dvd
it's very similar to something that was on a while back, Marchlands i think it was called.
But why keep the poor dog tied up in a tiny shed, why doesn't he let it in the house? A friend has read the book and says the dog's OK, so I'm hoping he's reunited with his family !
I agree, chaptz. Poor dog. I'm glad he's going to be O.K. The caretaker must be being cruel to be kind.
