This year I bought a string of 80 tiny flickering lights for £8.78 from Amazon. I have put up about 100 Christmas cards on wooden cupboards using Blu-Tak.
This pleases my wife. If it were not for her I would not bother. She always sends out a lot of Christmas cards. (In my dotage I see no point of sending Christmas cards and I loathe the boring newsletters which some folk enclose with theirs.) I admit, though, that Christmas is great for kids but mine are now grown up.It's good for working people as they get a well-deserved break.
