Have Been Snowed In .........

In our cul-de-sac since last Wednesday. We had supplies so managed. I had hoped to get out tomorrow. The snow has been falling since 4pm so I can't see it happening. There is no one in the C-D-S young enough to dig us out and the council aren't interested. They wouldn't even come in for the bin collection. I'm glad I have a supply of fags and Baccardi, but not for much longer. Please let it rain.

Amen to that Jeza. Never thought I'd pray for rain but after being snowed in for 3 days I never want to see another snowflake in my life.

Jeza, how heartwarming to meet you. We have heavy snow today but I have ample supplies of fags and Bacardi. Our bins were not emptied, complained bitterly to the Council and just got the usual health and safety rubbish, they will be emptied on Feb 4th!! (weather permitting).

The forecast is predicting rain. but not till Sunday. Then they are forecasting floods.

We've been promised that pretty white stuff today, but all we have had is a bit of rain a while ago. Boring.

We are snowed in, last weeks snow started on Friday and I never went out until Wednesday. We went out yesterday and again this morning and stocked up so I won't be out again until this lot has cleared up.

We had a little bit on Monday and that was it. The schools have all been open, the roads have been clear and the buses & trains have been running normally.

Got put of my close tonight for the first time in eight days. Made it home as the snow arrived again.....just. But I have wine....2 e-cigs and lots of wool and fabric so I'm happy.

We had about 6" last weekend, fed up of lethal paths now but seeing news footage and hearing people on here makes me realise how lucky we are here, the worst always seems to bypass this area.
