In my best answers it says I have 5, when I go on it there are only 4, how do I find what the other one was.

While it's possible that the thread has been removed (because the questioner has been banned), it's far more likely that your most recent 'best answer' was after mid November 2012, when the system seems to have got stuck. (The total goes up on your profile page but the 'Best' tab isn't updated). People keep nagging the Ed to sort it out, but we're still waiting!

My profile shows 715 best answers but the 'Best' tab shows only 638, with the most recent on 13th November.

Lie-in king has 2249 best answers and 15 badges.

I have 401 best answers and 15 badges.

shouldn't the fact that Lie-in king has more best answers mean he should have
more badges or dosen't it work like that?

Cupid:
Badges are given for posting in different categories. Someone who posts mainly in one category (e.g. Q&P) may well have far fewer badges than someone who posts across lots of categories, even though he has far more posts.
