Swollen Eye

Yesterday morning I noticed that my eyelid was slightly discoloured, darker than usual.

I didn't give it too much trout until last night when it appeared to be slight swollen and I thought I could see the swelling having a central point, so I assumed I had a style beginning.

This morning the discolouration seems to be a little more pronounced and the swelling has spread to below my eye. There is no pain just mild discomfort.

Any thoughts what might be the cause.

It could b a stye that hasn't "come out" yet. (Not that I am suggesting you have a gay stye)

I had one about 6 weeks ago and it took 3-4 days for the pus filled bit to show

If I'm going to have a stye I'd like it to be a gay one, the last one I had lasted for weeks......we'd be good friends by then and I would have picked up some useful skin care and fashion tips in the meantime.....

Mine lasted about 2.5 weeks. It was rubbish at giving me fashion tips

I'm hoping if my stye is gay it's the kind of stye you'd find in Gucci not the type you find hanging out in the Blue Oyster Bar.....perhaps yours was the latter Mrs O?

I too hope yours is Gucci. I think mine was more Primark

Thank you Sqad, it's too early to call at the moment but I will keep an eye on it (boom, boom!) and see how things develop.

Hopefully York will drop by over the weekend.
