All hail the victorious "Cream Eggheads". We won a local quiz tonight - ten rounds of 10 questions and we only got 4 wrong. Mind you, it was a rather easy quiz so we won't get carried away lol.

Well done Maggiebee. Like your team name too - that can often be the hardest question, thinking up a good team name. We have come 3rd and 4th in recent quizzes - must do better!

I think if you know the answer they are classed as easy. If you don't they are hard.

I am in the process of compiling a quiz for our U3A. I had finished it, showed it to OH and he said it was to hard and heavy, so I am having to revamp it a bit.
I've given him the job of doing a sports round, so interesting to see what he comes up with.

I met Chris Tarrant a while back. He asked me how I would do on millionaire. My answer, If you ask me what I know I'll win the million, ask me what I don't know and I won't win a penny, He said it was the best answer he had ever heard.

One question we got wrong was "who was born Daniel Patrick Carroll in Cork City". Didn't know it was Danny la Rue.

I set quizzes as a hobby, and i also go to quiz nights when i can .... Two weeks ago, my team came second out of ten

Next friday we are going to a larger annual quiz night that is very tough .... We usually come about thirty-something out of approximately one hundred teams
