I have no wish to be controversial - but was the thread about FB's Comic Relief segement pulled from the site?
My point was that we should not blame FB - he simply does what he does - the fault is with the Tristrams who produce TV shows and invite him to appear, knowing exactly what they are going to get, then having to cut his appearence out, even though licence payers' money is wasted in his fee, filming, editing, and fielding the flack afterwards.
Continually repeating a set of circumstances in the expectation of a different outcome is said to be a definition of insanity!

If people want to pay to go and see his shows, fine, but there's no need to fund his trolling activities with public money.

I see him in the same area as Chubby Brown - who made a decision at the beginning of his career that he would not do TV - but stick to his seriously popular live tours and DVD's, which attract his fans only - his tour posters all say 'If easily offended, stay away'.
FB seems to have morphed from an edgy commic on Mock The Week into some sort of sociopathic monster, and as i say, the fault lies with commissioners who put him on TV, and then wring their hands when he performs to type.
