Just got my reminder (£270 arrgh). Do I get it now before the Budget or do you not think it will change? If it did change would I have to pay the difference?

Get it now, once paid they cannot change the cost even if the budget rasies it.

It is not possible for any Budget increase of VED to come into effect before 1st April. The duty is calculated on a full calendar month basis therefore the rate cannot change until the start of a calendar month.

The tax disc will be valid from the 1st if you buy it now.
