I'm not anti big families. My best mate is one of 14. Her sister is married to one of 21. My sons best mate is one of 13. My dad is also one of the 13.

No benefits though.

like the woman in today's paper, she has 10 kids and wants more. why.. and why expect taxpayers to pay for it. It what's gives those in real need a bad name, being lumped all together.

I don't understand why, and I don't know the answer.

Maybe benefits should be restricted for people that have children whilst claiming them.

I also think its horribly selfish to have that many children on the elder ones. No matter how good your intentions are, you can bet your last dollar that the elder ones will become unpaid babysitters at some stage.
