I have just bought a new Samsung laptop with Windows 8 installed although it s not touchscreen
I set up a Gmail account for e-mail and it was fine earlier today but tonight, apart from my e-mails everything is in Spanish. I have made sure that the default language for all apps is English UK and the help only tells you to go into settings to change the language. I cannot do this as I cannot understand Spanish instructions!
I have no problem with language anywhere else - can anyone please offer a solution? Thanks in advance!

There are some Spanish speakers on AB Tinkerpuss, you could maybe post some of the instructions here there are also some websites that actually translate things from Spanish to English, never really used them, except for one called babel fish which was hilarious with the English versions of the Spanish text. I speak a bit of Spanish, try posting the bit you need about changing the language settings and we can take it from there - I happen to know of one Spanish speaker floating about here tonight, I could rope them in too!
In Gmail, tap the cog wheel at top right
The Settings option is third from the bottom
Once you open settings, the Gmail display language selection is the very first item, and each language is displayed in that language, so you just need to select English (UK)

The settings options are in Spanish. I tried to click on the first option but it did not work. Would I be better just to do a system restore?
