Owing to computer problems I've been having trouble getting the club open tonight.
So I hereby declare tonight's meeting of the Mad Over Fifties Club open.

The minstrels are up in the gallery playing their madrigals and toccattas, later on they have threatened to play their version of Aerosmiths' greatest hits (oh joy!)
The hot plate special is a beef casserole with dumplings so light and fluffy they have to be tied to the plates! As always there is a selection of volly vonts, canopies and other nibbles. The pudding trolley tonight we have a "pot luck" selection, simply choose which pud would like and it will be brought to you.
All of our usual treats and activities are available for members use so feel free to indulge in whichever past time takes your fancy (just so long as it is legal)
Tonight's tailcock is a special tribute in honour of Excel's Grandma who sadly passed away earlier in the week. He himself has requested it and we are honoured to oblige. Ladies and gentlemen tonight's tailcock is "Grandma's Goodnight Kiss" a delightful distillation which I'm certain will be enjoyed by our members. I hope we will all raise our glasses in a toast to Excel and his dear Grandma.
A warm welcome awaits all who dare enter these portals

carriages at midnight.

Hello Excel, lovely to see you, I do hope you are in as fine a fettle as you can manage.

Tony never thought about e-bay - some numpty took a corner soemwhat sharply forcing best beloved to move to allow him through and bb hit a wall -
just as well I wasn't there as I'd have been after the other guy and shook him warmly by the throat!
Right I see what you mean nungate ( about the mirror ) and yes there are some that could do with a errrrrrrm warm neck shake, lol.
I'm over 50, and quite mad. That, or I drive people, like my mum, mad.
Question Author
That's probably why best beloved says I'd never be a good driver I've no patience and the temptation to shake others who annoy me warmly by the neck is the other - I admit to driving him up the wall (well it is in the manual!)
Hi ya Spoonboy.

Your better off just being a passenger, nungate.
Question Author
Well hello there Spoonboy, it isn't compusolry to be over 50 to gain entry to the MoFC, as for being mad - it's a big help! Drink?
You do know we're here every Saturday from 8.00?

I'm more than that Tony, I'm navigator! I can read maps (without turning them upside down) and I work out routes better than any sat nav (annoying things) I've had calls from himself stuck on the M1 trying to get to Derby, in a bid to avoid some major roadworks - it would have helped had he not taken the only road atlas in the house with him! I found a map online and worked out a route from that. He bought me my very own road map - the old romantic fool!
LOL, clever girl nungate, so himself ventures down fairly close to my neck of the woods then.

Good night all. Thanks for a lovely evening.
Question Author
That was when he worked in a bank. He had to travel mostly for fraud cases.
He retired from banking a while ago now. Himslef and Queenie will be going through the midlands in a couple of weeks on their way to Cardiff - they travel down the M6 for quite a way before the head into Wales - one route I don't plan!
Good night Tony, sleep well
Madame, the staff have assembled shall be begin the clear up? The last carraiage has left and Chubb has locked up outside.
Question Author
Very well Igor, you may.

I shall retire to my chambers, if you need me for anything please come find me.
