any cold sandwich and I just love the fatty bits (totally incorrect) - bring it on in a good old fashioned sarnie or in a baguette stuffed with sliced cucs, toms, mayo (and chipotle)..........and a glass of cold Sauv/Semillon or even a good red wine.
exellent ideas, thanks to all, had minty sarnies last night, might go with the curry tonight, shame we no longer have a dog to chew on the bone, maybe I will boil it up for a bit of stock, waste not want not.
You can make a Hotpot with it, and it takes only a short time to cook, unlike the proper recipe which uses stewing lamb. Just layer sliced potatoes, then carrots and onions, then lamb, repeat until you have used everything up and pour in some stock or leftover gravy if you have some. Cover tightly with foil and cook in a moderate oven till the veg are tender. Absolutely yum
