Is there an easy way to do a factory reset on computer?

By easy I mean with just one click.

A factory reset will destroy EVERYTHING on the hard disk so back up all your important files, browser favorites, email settings, and anything else you want to keep.

Then go to the fujitsu siemens web site and look for the support page for laptops.

This will tell you how to do a factory reset.

Or look in the documentation that came with the laptop.

It normally consists of doing nothing more than pressing a button or two during computer start up, though exactly WHAT button to press does vary from laptop to laptop.

OK thanks, I'm not worried about losing files or anything from the hard disc, I don't have anything important on this computer, I don't think I have anyway.

You will have a manual on your hard drive - look in All Programs - Fujitsu (or similar).

It will tell you there had to do a factory reset. I will be easy but time consuming - all the windows updates etc.

A system restore is totally different to putting it back to factory default.

F2 key at booting will bring up BIOS, where you can make changes BUT its best left to tekkies who can download lost drivers etc

The Fujutsi has a 'built in' factory restore setting. Just follow the instructions - no need to dabble in BIOS or other scary settings
