Virus

It seems I have a virus on my laptop. My keyboard cannot type the @ when I try to type my email address. Also what is meant to be my recycle bin now has all my desktop items in it and cannot be emptied. Can anyone recommend a good virus remover or something please? Thanks for any ideas in advance.

Hi, can you do a system restore to an earlier time when it was ok? If you get it back to normal, get malwarebytes installed, it's free and when you run it it will find anything on your comp that is causing the problems. I have the free version of AVG antivirus too and that also is very good.

Your keyboard has been set as a US keyboard.

Go into the settings for the keyboard and date/time etc and make sure they are all set to UK.

Then reboot.
