Burglars broke into a man's house one night.

Gathering his courage he picked up his son's pistol and shouted, "Hands up."

The burglars put up their hands.

The man then gave them a sound thrashing while holding the pistol in one hand.

Hearing their cries for mercy the man's son woke up and ran to help his father.

"Dad, you won't know how to use this pistol," he said.

"First you fill it with water then you press the trigger.'
