vlc media player

I downloaded VLC media player which was recommended to download videoclips/images etc from a mobile phone , it seemed to work ok and i managed to play videoclips but there was no sound with it.

I tried all the settings / volume controls etc but can't get any joy.

Anyone got any ideas ?

I'm on windows 2000 and have a samsung D500

Hello Dajstar.

1: You should check to see if your video clips have sound. I know this seems silly but it is worth doing.

2: Make sure you have the latest VLC version. I use it myself and have found it to be very good.

3: Consider a different player.

4: You may need to convert the clips to something your media player can recognise properly.

Goto the link below for some ideas. It seems a bit daunting, but stick with it and perhaps someone else may come forwards with other ideas.
