Yes they do start kicking back in an attempt to bury their poo however often all they do is throw soil over the patio and completely miss the poo.
" Cats bury their poo - if it's lying on the lawn, it's not a cat. "
Really ? That black and white moggy next door must be a figment of my imagination then .I 've actually watched the cheeky b do it on my lawn and then wander off .
I see it most mornings ,slinking past with a bird in it's chops .Then it seems to invite all it's friends round for a poop fest :)
I can't stand cats .. I wouldn't hurt them but I can understand how people get fed up with this .I've tramped it indoors too ..Bleugh ..it stinks .
If I still had a dog and took it to poop on other peoples property they would soon see red .

We have three very likeable cats next door to us, but they become unlikeable when we see them jump out of what we call our sparrow bush, to attack the sparrows that are feeding on their perches.
Y/day was another day that one of the cats, jumped on the railings while on his way out, with a sparrow in his mouth. Yes, i was foaming from the mouth!
Dontcha just love them --not.

Why did I know that this thread would involve a few ding-dongs before I read it?
chessington, have you approached the neighbour about this problem? They may not be aware that their cats are causing a problem. Cat owners are like dog owners ... a good portion are responsible people, however, there are always a few that feel that it is the 'victim's' responsibility to solve their problem pet's behaviour. Even if a cat is not tray trained, it will prefer to use a nice dry patch of sand that the owner has made for them in the corner of the garden.
