same scummy chav status dogs....they need to ban these type of dogs, the breeding of these dogs etc in this country.

these type of people get these breeds of dog for one reason only and its not because of the aaaah factor

That wouldn't end unless you destroyed all dogs. A dog isn't known to be dangerous unless and until it bites.

Twice in the first year of owning Eddie (big lad in avatar) attempts were made to steal him, if it hadn't been for my background the second attempt almost worked, I managed to get a Reg. number and the guy was arrested, turns out he was well known for being involved in dog-fighting.
Eddie is now 9, he's 31"s at the shoulder and weighs over 8 stone, he's the gentlest dog I've ever known.

for the most part the sort of people that go for these dogs, it would be excellent news if they couldnt breed......

guns dont kill until they are fired by a human....so first step is to ban the guns, and thats what should be done here, ban the breeds these lowlifes tend to go for at the very least there needs to be far stricter control and laws governing these breeds and punishments for offences committed.....yeah some chance

baz, what breeds are they, that these lowlifes go for and you would have banned? I've already tried to point out the problem with that. The Staffordshire bull terrier is one that comes to mind. Will you have all of that breed put down? Or make it a criminal offence to breed one? How, in practical terms, will you carry out this plan? What of other breeds? There are plenty out there that have not yet been taken up much or at all by the lowlifes, but which carry a fearsome bite and have great tenacity; the ordinary bull terrier is but one. So is your rule that once a lowlife has a breed it should be banned ?

Drivel joeluke...haven't you read any of the posts on here today ? Any dog is capable of injuring a child. What are you advocating ? Killing all dogs, just in case ? More children are killed and injured by cars than dogs every year...are you suggesting that we ban all cars, just in case ?

Not all dogs, just the known killing machine breeds.....sure all dogs can bite and injure kids but not all can rip a child apart

I would never trust any small child with my dogs! I saw one day, a staffie sat waiting outside tesco. He was very calm, just waiting nicely for his owner. From out of nowhere a toddler came running up behind him and hit him as hard as she could on the head. Dog, bless him didn't jump or react, just turned round and wagged at her.
Now okay, stupid owner for leaving dog tied up outside a busy shop, but if the dog had reacted (and I would have done, let alone a dog!) the newspaper story would have been all about devil dog and innocent child.
