I Picked Up The Watch From Argos........
9 Answers
For a cheapie it doesn't show. Went to the hospital attempted to put the watch on his wrist. Not my watch he says and threw it on the floor. I know he is ill and not himself. I tried to tell him I'm doing my best for him. In Yorkshire terms it was water off a ducks back. SIGH. What next.

What is more valuable at this point: the watch or his feeling of "things are as usual; I've got my watch"?
Oh Jeza, it's a difficult situation for you. Can't do right for doing wrong it seems at the moment. I think you are very sensible not taking a valuable watch into hospital, who knows what might happen to them. Does he really need a watch at the moment? Chin up, be kind to yourself as you are making the best of a difficult situation.
