What are all the lovely Welsh folk doing today to celebrate their patron saint's day? I so miss Wales, I lived at St Athan air base and worked in Cardiff, it was terrific and I loved it there. Ogmore By Sea has to be one of the most naturally beautiful places on Earth.

Morning Dot.hawkes! I've been sitting here (in my office) this morning watching the snow fall. Its sunny though, with a bright blue sky. We will have Welsh cakes with our morning coffee today - to celebrate St David's Day you understand..!

Hello dot.hawkes and Lindylou, I have celebrated today by having a chat to my lovely Welsh mum on the phone. I'd love one of my nan's Welsh cakes with a cup of tea but instead I am fending off the bad Welsh jokes I am being emailed!
