sandyroe, my wife and I smoked 40 a day EACH. At today's price of £8 a pack that is £11680 per year.
We smoked more on holiday, in the pub/club, on holiday. No wonder I've got asthma.
When we stopped we put the money we would have spent each day aside and it paid for a beautiful new kitchen within 12 months. A new car the year after.
I am honestly astonished and ashamed at the amount of money we choose to burn.
