Another Hmrc Scam?
7 Answers
Have just received an email in my Spam box, supposedly from HMRC, entitled 'submit your tax refund'. Assumed this was a scam as it doesn't make sense, and deleted it without opening. Now, of course, I'm wondering....Is this a known scam or have I deprived myself of real money?

You need to think if a bank or other organization has ever HAD your email address.
If the HAVEN'T then how on earth can they send you an email.
As a general rule ANY email from a bank or other organization like ebay, paypal ect should be treated with suspicion.
If in doubt always phone them up (using their phone number on their web site NOT within an email) to double check.
