Good evening and welcome to tonight's meeting of AB's Mad Over Fifties Club. Sadly, Queenofmean sends her regrets as she will be unable to join us this evening, due to serious computer problems.
Tonight's Tailcock will be the "Barca Blaster" (we're playing a BIG game tonight and we need the extra support) For our hot plate special we have resurrected that old favourite "Potage Bonne Femme" (you have no idea how difficult it is to locate a Good Woman these days!) served with lots of fresh crusty bread (and butter if desired) of course, as always there is a variety of canopies, volly vonts, and horses doovers, on tonight's banquet table. On the pudding trolley we have Lemon meringue pie, with whipped cream, also on offer is a delicious fruit salad.
The Minstrels are already up in the gallery warming up to give us their usual rendition of madrigals and fugues, while down in the Ballroom we have the Ecclefecchan Girl Pipers playing a selection of show tunes .. interesting
The fires are burning brightly in the hearths, the games room is ready for use, in the Library there is a fabulous selection of books and all the latest Magazines and Periodicals, including a copy of "Plumbing and Crochet Weekly". Up on the North Tower the hot tub is bubbling away and the mini bar had been refilled. The bungees is ready to use, just bear in mind to aim away from the moat as the piranhas do bite! It is possible for a stroll around the grounds as we have installed some outside lighting, just be careful to stay on the lighted paths. The indoor swimming pool is available for member's use (cossies can be borrowed).

For tonight's rofl I offer:
Queenie's laptop (broken....)
my brother (lazy oik and has totally p**sed me off)
Athletico Madrid (they are totally P***ing me off tonight)
Saturday Night TV - thank goodness for Spanish Football and MOFC!

not sure who has rattled my cage tonight but consider it rattled!

however,
A warm welcome awaits all who dare enter these portals tonight

This is a new one apparently, Queenie saw it on her last trip down there, decided she'd like to stay there, looked at it on line showed it to me and I was there! It's a Radisson I believe. I've never been to Cardiff before, should be interesting - I want to find a red toy dragon

Casting my mind back to the other day, when I was discussing the whole Gallic adventure with you Daisy. I mentioned the place to my friend (the soliciting one) about it and it set us off on a long trip down memory lane!
We were chatting all about our days as daft lassies loose on an unsuspecting
foreign nation (happily there were no international incidents) But we'd a lovely time and it was all down to you. Thanks for that!
Question Author
same here Tony, this whole county had loads of them and it's not a large area at all!

No, bad memories of Bilston.

Why is that, Daisy, if you don't mind me asking that is.
How lovely to have a friend close enough to chat about days gone by. My group is scattered to the four winds. We never meet.
Will email Tony. Bit too much.
