I live on the Fylde Coast, last time they fracked we had a mini earth quake.

Ferlew, it's a form of getting gas from the sea using hydraulics,shifting the sea bed and can cause earthquakes

that's true boxtops, but i was trying to give ferlew a kind of explaination of it as easy because it is quiet complex in my view and hopkirk is right about depending on the russians, but I still don't like it, I seen in the other fracking post a link to lighting fire to the tap water

I read a piece in a newspaper a few months ago, apparently fracking has been going on in Nottinghamshire since the sixties or seventies with no apparent problems. Maybe instead of jumping to conclusions we should take a closer look at all the facts before deciding we're for fracking or against fracking.

poeple dont want fracking ..they dont want nuclear... but want the lights to stay on.. get t real we are in s**t street as far as the supply of power in the next 10/20 years is concern
