Sorry I can't help with your query but the psoriasis ointment (Dovobet) I have used for ages has also been withdrawn. The new one I have been prescribed (Dovobet gel) doesn't control my condition as well although it's not as greasy.
I'll be interested to see what Ummmm's nephew recommends.
Best wishes

I've been taking a 1000mg(NOT less) of Evening primrose Oil. I started a few years ago and took a capsule every day. The symptoms totally disappeared and I , foolishly, stopped taking the EPO. Silly me. The symptoms returned so I had to start again. The symptoms went away again and I eventually and gradually got the daily intake down to one capsule twice a week. That's all I now need to keep the symptoms at bay. I KNOW if I stop taking the EPO it will all flare up again. As I say, it's now been quite a few years and, touch wood, all is ok now. I wish you good luck with yours adik. xx
I can't recommend an alternative to Alphosyl HC as I find no treatments work for me but have found this somewhat out of date information regarding the shampoo. https:/ /www.ps oriasis -associ ation.o rg.uk/n ews-and -views/ view/al phosyl- hc-crea m-disco ntinued
A geothermal power station was built in Iceland something like three decades ago. The run-off water formed first a pond and then a small lake. Workers, friends and relations took to swimming in its waters and one of them noticed relief from his psoriasis as a result. The place is now a very popular spa called the Blue Lagoon. The sediments are used for various health products, particularly for the skin. I don't know more about these products but you should be able to find details online.
