I have a Honda Jazz car, and wondering if the expert dog owners out there could help us!!
We are wondering if anyone knows of an inside car protection cover, we could get to keep the dog hairs and dirt away from the seats from two leonbergers.
Also with one being a puppy, we would need something to keep the dog away from the driver, when we are driving, if you know what I mean?!!!!
Would really appreciate your help with this, as we are thinking of getting a second leo, and are trying to solve some issues before we fully commit to our second dog!
What other things do you think we should be aware of?!
Many thanks xxxxx

If you are worried about a few dog hairs in your car then I really think you need to reconsider getting a second one! No matter what covers you put on the hairs manage to get through them and that's without the dribble down the windows. Dogs travelling loose are very dangerous, and can be thrown with enough force to kill you if you have to brake or are in an accident - I would never travel a dog without a crate.
Couldn't the puppy travel in the boot area, with a dog guard fitted? The accessories brochure for the Honda Jazz shows that they make a a guard for that model.

Thank you xxx
I think a better question would be what sort of vehicle do I need to transport two Leonbergers in the manner in which they are accustomed!
They are huge dogs - but beautiful. Have 'fun' if you decide to get a second dog.
If the back seats fold down to give a platform all you need is a grill to keep the dogs in the passenger space and an old blanket for the hairs to stick to.(otherwise they will find their way everywhere).
When I had a boxer she had a full harness that was attached to the rear safety belt system. You must have some restraint or sudden braking could be disastrous.
