There are other maps of UK, Africa, etc by clicking on the "maps" link at the top.
to find detail of specific times, etc you need to go to the website of whichever airport you're interested in. not all of them have a published schedule, but most list departures (as sddsddean says) for the next hour or so.
As Mushroom25 has stated, flightmapping.com is the best site for checking routes but it's not always fully up to date.
Most airports throughout the world have their own websites. The vast majority of these sites contain a full list of airlines and destinations served (although it can sometimes take quite a while to find it!).
Airports operated by BAA (including Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and most other large UK airports) have a common style to their websites. To access the full list of destinations, and the airlines seving them, just click 'Flight Information' and then 'Destinations & Airlines'.
