Just chatting to my sister on the phone, and she is experiencing an intermittent painful burning sensation at the top of her leg, in line with the knee.
I said I would ask in here for her. TIA.

Not enough information......" At the top her leg in line with her knee" does she mean in her groin?.if not a better description of the pain would be appreciated. How long has she experienced it and what brings it on, e.g exercise.
How old is your sister?

Sorry, yes - her groin.
She has been having hip pains, and is waiting for a scan.
This is the third day, she describes it as an intermittent painful burning sensation, It lasts less then a minute, then comes back a little while later.
She is 64 this month. TIA.
Well, it does sound like a hip problem.....probably osteo-arthritis, but the scan should give us the answer.
keep us informed eh!
