talking to mazie just now about grandchildren reminded me of my gandson saying to me when i was putting a record on ,cor they are big cds nan ,have your grandchildren made you feel 100 years old lol

Often mally... just got back from the Easter break and one of mine asked me when I would be 100 !

lol don't you just love them .many years ago my daughter was doing a project at school and asked me if i wore crinolines when i was little lol

My 5 yr old granddaughter asked me what colour my hair was before I was old. Might I add that I pay a small fortune to get it highlighted a tasteful shade of blonde-waste of money it seems!

Grandson asked what subjects I did at school. Amongst others I did shorthand/typing so had to explain that to him. He then asked what a typewriter was!

not really a grandchild one, but I remember my mother telling me when she was at school, she enjoyed and was good at history.
I replied that's cos there wasn't as much of it back then.

Took me about a week to be able to sit down. :-)

My grandchildren want me to go and see 1D with them! Think they're trying to kill me off for the money. We were looking at our family tree on the computer and she asked if I remembered my great great great grandmother.

not my grandchild but a young man I was working with knew I had been in the RAF and asked me if I remembered the Cuban missile crisis. "Yes" I said "we were on standby at the time". "Oh, we covered that in school history"

My DAUGHTER makes me feel 100 years old tbh! She's 17 months and I'm 42. She's knackering me right out!

I was asked if I will die soon by 5 year old grandson. I said I hope not.

Went to see OH's son and grandchildren on Tuesday. The boys who are 7 and 8 were annoying their mum by jumping on her. She suggested they came and sat on my knee. Their response was "No she's too old". Didn't do much for my ego!!

My son is now 24 but when he was about 5 or 6, we were taking the dog for a walk along the canal tow-path when he came across some very brightly coloured flowers. Being a mummy's boy, he began to pick some for 'her indoors' but stopped to ask me, "Dad, did you have coloured flowers in the old days?"
