Thanks Jomlett
Some of it was filmed in Newcastle. Several shots of the bridges.
Newbiggin has also been spotted...
Great, isn't it? :)
And the bridge going into Warkworth.
Love how they're popping over to 'the island' from Alnmouth when it's actually a massive bit of land stretching for miles and miles to Warkworth, Amble and beyond!!
Lol, clipclop.
.... and the fictional 'Partlington' railway station was filmed at Stanhope Station on the Weardale Railway. Apparently the ticket barriers, kiosk and other items were installed just for the programme.
Oh no, missed it!!! Love Vera so must watch tomorrow on the iplayer. Thanks for the reminder.
Do the plots have to be so convoluted? Cant we have straightforward plots? I'm not dim but am quite confused about tonights story.
My husband came back into the house and was having an argument with the cat in the middle of the last 15 mins,so,although i know "who dunnit", I didn't catch why! Could someone please help :-)
The ticket barriers - although specially installed (see above) - were a waste of time Jessica and her Dad went in and out of them as if they weren't there!!
Yes, I noticed that too. As well as the refreshment kiosk, they repainted the station, installed a photo-booth and put in some seats. What a waste!
